September 24, 2024
4:00 – 6:00pm

Lecture Room 3, third floor,
John Lennon Art & Design Building

This event brings together speakers who have worked with Liverpool arts institutions to engage marginalised local communities in arts projects that address issues of equality, diversity and inclusion. Their presentations will describe their co-production methodologies, giving an insight into the work being undertaken at LJMU and in the Liverpool City Region.

Dr Emma Murray is a Reader in Military Veteran Studies in the School of Justice at LJMU. Between 2014-2024, Dr Murray was Criminologist in Residence at FACT (the Foundation for Art.

Alex Patterson is Assistant Curator of Fine Art at National Museums Liverpool. Alex has successfully secured external funding in order to devise coproduction team projects to decolonise spaces at the Walker Art Gallery.

Our events are always free and open to all;  there is no need to book tickets for this afternoon of discussion.
